Ti trovi qui: Farm house > Podere Casetta
The holding, fully refurbished in 2010, is located less than three kilometres from Brisighella downtown. It is 120 metres ASL. Casetta is one of the oldest properties of the estate, as proved by several documents filed in the records. The one-body house is actually the result of successive additions carried out between 1600 and 1800.
A peculiarity is a large seventeenth-century shed with ribbed vaults. Some characteristics of the Podere Casetta are the impressive lawn opposite to the house, opening to the magnificent hill landscape of the Lamone lowland valley from Brisighella to Faenza surrounded by Romagna Sangiovese, Trebbiano and Albana vineyards. This open position lets a light breeze blow from the nearby Adriatic Sea that helps alleviate hot summer days.
From Casetta, you can walk to the regional park Vena dei Gessi Romagnoli (chalk formations ) and stroll among ravines and chalk outcrops. The estate garden is a large lawn surrounded by mulberries, cypresses and Volpina pear trees, and with hedges formed by Christ's thorns, hawthorns, dog roses, blackthorns, rosemary and lavenders. The swimming pool (6 m x 12 m) in the garden is for the exclusive use of the two flats of Casetta: Casa Ginestra and Casa Prugnolo.
